Cranach, Lucas the Elder, Sybilla of Cleves  1527 My gown

Although it's a bit early for me, the main inspiration for my gown came from the Cranach portrait of  Sybilla of Cleves.

Side view      I used several elements from the Cleves gown. The skirt was flat pleated on the waist band. I made the bodice and skirt separately. The bodice laces up on the sides.
One of the things that I liked the most about this style of clothing is that there are little or no underpinnings.
I wear a hat with my hair worn down. Happily, my hair is as long as Sybilla's
