Ropas are wonderful inventions. A Ropa is a garment that is worn either over an outfit or it can be worn over a chemise. Ropas can either be very elaborate or simple. I have some that are washable to that I can wear them
over the gowns to protect them. (very handy with a 5 year old under foot)

I got the idea for the blue ropa from a painting of Lady Kytson. The trim is set in two continuous lines that weave in and out. The lines cross over in the back. I got this idea from Celtic knotwork. I set 10mm pearls at the corners and crossing.
