I based the bodice on the pattern seen in Arnold’s “Patterns of Fashion” It laces up the sides. The tops of the shoulder and bottom of the bodice have puffs of fabric caught with the dyed pearls The skirt is set flat on the front then cartridge pleated. The skirt opens in the back. I used cotton fringe on the bottom of the skirt to protect the hem.
