     The following pages are merely for eye candy.  I saw the gold gown from the  Infanta Isabel Clara Eugenia and had to have it... or as close as I could get.
     I made this gown eight years ago when I just getting into Tudor costuming. The bodice is an adaptation of a McCall's pattern and I improvised a lot of it.  Although I made it following my instints, it is amazing that it  turned out looking "correct"
     I later redid the trim on the neckline added pearls, and cartridge pleated the over skirt. Otherwise, the gown remains the same.
